Unable to create a Hosted Server
Posted: 27 Jan 2026 22:03
Hello Heli-X community,
I'm trying to set up a hosted server but haven't been able to get it working.
What I've already done:
Read the online PDF which states: "The client has to allow outgoing connections. For this, a configuration in the router might be necessary. Used is the given port and the two following port numbers, for example 1025-1027."
My understanding: if I use port 2345, I should also open ports 2346 and 2347. Please confirm if this is correct.
Opened ports 2345, 2346, and 2347 (both UDP & TCP) on my router and forwarded them to my computer (where both the game and server are running)
Configured my firewall to allow these same ports
Temporarily disabled the firewall completely to test
The problem:
I always get the same error on the client side: "Error: Not possible to connect to the server"
The issue occurs for both local and internet connections.
Any help would be greatly appreciated!
